  11. My favourite Christmas memory was the first Christmas that I celebrated as husband and wife, I was so excited to spend our first Christmas that I decided to make Christmas at home and invite our families, it was awesome, we’ve been hosting Christmas day ever since, it will be our 26th year!

  12. I’ve been pretty nice this year. I volunteered each month so far, participated in a few charity walks, and became more active in bettering my community. Although I’ve been good, there were a few naughty moments lol; I can’t help it though because baked goods hold a dear place in my heart.

  13. I’ve been very nice! So nice that I kept feeding and clothing my kids instead of using the money for a nice camera when my phone pics on the blog are an embarrassment! Help keep me on the nice list! 🙂

  14. I have been nice! I have been working really hard to find the right job and am close now and expect to hear back any day. I also volunteer my time to help others.
    I have been wishing for a dslr for a rip few years now. I used to have a good slr to be creative in my photography, but now I want to try a dslr.

  17. Favorite Christmas memory is my first Christmas as a married couple. We visited both families for the holidays and it was a wonderful bonding occasion. We shared photos, traditions, and different foods. We come from different cultures.

  27. I would say a little bit of both, but mostly nice. I am always thinking of others before myself, which is why I don’t already have this camera. I have wanted it for over a year, but put others before spending on myself. I’d love to win.

  33. I have been nice. I didn’t take any sick/annual days off work when there was work to be done or nobody there to cover it. I took my wife on a nice long weekend for our 10th wedding anniversary and we saw her favorite performer and a nice dinner. I donated money and supplies to an animal shelter and at work I was able to start training people so everybody is well-trained!

  34. I have been nice and really started being uber frugal, especially with food. I intend to keep it up and find I don’t miss the extras.

  35. My favorite Christmas memories are of going to my grandmas when all the kids were little and opening presents and having a lovely dinner she prepared. She was a school cook so we always had the best food.

  40. I have been both naughty and nice this year – as in somedays I am grumpy and can be not so nice and other days I am an angel!

  41. I have mostly been nice, but I’ve certainly had my moments. In some ways, it has been a challenging year, but I’ve also been very blessed. Just a lot of transition and change can be hard.

    They probably would say that because I make them do chores and help around the house. I think of it as preparing them to enter the real world.

  44. My favorite Christmas memory would have to be any of the years when more of my family was around. From the time I was 15 and up there had been too many deaths in my family. We used to have some large gatherings but now there is literally only a handful of us left.

  45. I would say I have been pretty nice 🙂 All year – house is generally clean, kids are fed, regular church attendance, etc. :))

  46. I feel like I’ve been nice this year! I’m sure if you ask enough people though you’d find someone who thought differently!

  47. I remember when I was little, we would go to the midnight mass and after, there would be this parade around the city carrying Mary and Jesus and there were so many candles lit in front of the cathedral, it was quite beautiful.

  49. I believe that I have been nice this year. Despite being disabled by my recent Lupus flare of over a year I try to do as much as I possibly can every day to take some pressure and stress off of my hubby. He not only has to work, but he does everything he can to help take care of me.

  50. One of my fave Christmas memories was actually of my brother. He was about 12 and had been asking for a motor bike all year. My parents didn’t have a lot of money and could not afford one. But on Christmas Eve my father went out and found my brother a used but very nice one. When my brother got it he literally jumped into my dad’s arms (my dad was standing with the bike) and I will never forget that image!

  52. Overall I would say I have been nice. I try to smile and be optimistic. I have a few health issues but I try to be happy and be cheery. I try and do a nice thing for someone else every day.

  54. Dear Santa, I’ve been a very good girl. I haven’t smacked anyone that desperately deserved it. I haven’t yelled at anyone, even though they obviously had it coming. I’ve been extra special nice to people who don’t like me (not my fault if they were scared cuz I was nice, right?) Just kidding, I’ve been good, I promise, lol

  55. I have been nice this year, but I have had some slip ups. I tell the person I am sorry, and it always seems to work out. I help others when I can during the year! So I am on the Nice list with Santa!

  102. One of my favorite Christmas memories is of the first Christmas my husband and I spent together as a married couple. He surprised me with a pair of diamond earrings. I was totally stunned. I wear them almost every day. That surprise gift really helped him win over my Mom, too. I remember she said something like, “I guess he’s going to work out OK after all…”

  132. My favorite memory was when my kids were young, my Dad wanted to be there when the kids opened their gifts Christmas morning. So they would call him when they got up and tell him to hurry cause Santa had been here, thankfully he only lived 2 blocks away.

  137. I think I’ve been nice… I’ve done a lot of huge favours for friends, including watching one friend’s little girl full time for free for a few months until daycare had a spot open for her. I do my best to be a good friend, and a good person.

  138. I think i’ve been pretty good. I brought a beautiful baby girl into this world. I’ve done everything I can to make the most of the time I have with her and the time I have away from work helping out my friends. I know sometimes I can come off a little bit forward in the way I speak to people but i’m doing my very best to fix that and not take things so personally

  156. I did enter at Rita Reviews. My favorite Christmas memory was when my first 3 little ones were about 1 1/2, 7 and 81/2 and I was a newly single mom, I had two sort of non believer sin my midst and I really had to raise the stakes. It might sound gross but I was able to find some remnants after deer hunting I was able to fashion some hoofs on a stick and “found” reindeer hoofmarks right on our roof ourside on our porch rooftop.. as proof Santa had come. He also shook a very loud reindeer bells and made such a ruckus on the roof our kids were sleepy eyed just awakening and we jumped to the window to see what could make such a clatter. We did not see the sleigh slipping out of sight like we’d hoped, but when the kids scurried downstairs the saw that Santa had made his mark and left my good little girls and boy a few nice gifts. I giggled so when the kids ALL said they really HAD seen the sleigh moving across the sky later. I love the wonder of Christmas, either at church service or opening gifts or watching huge snowflakes fall to the newly blanketed ground on a lucky year…watching it all through the eyes of children. Am so blessed with 6 grandchildren now and my youngest is 14 and still drinks in the wonder of Christmas.

  157. I mostly am nice. However, we all have our naughty moments. It’s important how we make up for those slip ups in the end though. I think I do a good job making amends.

  251. I have been pretty much nice. The only time I might have been naughty is having 3 surgeries in one year I might have gotten short tempered with people when I didnt feel well. Pretty much nice the rest of the time though.

  253. I already stated my case on Rita’s post, so here is my favorite Christmas memory. As a child, my fav memory is that of my brother (who is no longer here) and I going to the store to pick out or Christmas angel gifts, to give to a child less fortunate. I van still remember the toys we chose the year I was 9- a bear with a beautiful green dress for my angel, and a set of hot wheels cars for his. 🙂

It wasn’t really a particular event that took place,just more of a feeling on that day.It was my daughter’s first Christmas and my son was just so very sweet with her.He made sure to help her open her gifts and didn’t seem to care much about his own. He was just so attentive to her,and still is every day.I can’t wait for Christmas this year!
