Last year we bought a very small older home that I love…but I do dream of finishing the basement into a nice living space.

My basement laundry area is truly a dungeon. NO ONE wants to go down there! I’d love it closed in and have ceiling, normal lighting, and shelving, and a small counter space for folding. My kids would be so much less embarrassed to not have friends come over and see that mess on their way to our makeshift family room.
