Net10 Wireless Test Drive: Using the Phone

As I told you all before I am test driving Net10 Wireless. If you are not familiar with Net10 Wireless you may be interested in the fact that they have no contracts, have coverage on the best networks (such as Verizon and Sprint), and have the latest phone model including Android phones. What I love the most about them is you get unlimited calling to Mexico and other countries including cell phones. Do you know how much a call to Mexico can cost? Trust me it is not a pretty bill, it makes me want to cry every time I see it. I really enjoy that Net10 offers the latest Android phones, in fact they sent me the LG Optimus to use and I am so pleased with it. The LG Opitmus has the Android operating system, touchscreen, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Service is a little sketchy when I am at home but I live in the woods and all service is that way. If I walk outside it gets clearer and my Wi-Fi works perfectly anywhere in the house. I love that I can check my email without having to fire up the computer as well as hop on Facebook and Twitter. I even have it synced with my Google account so I can keep up with my appointments in my Google Calendar. This phone has made my life so much easier. I have only one complaint and that is the escalating ringtone. There is no way to turn it off and I have missed a few calls because when it first rings you can’t hear it very well. If it keeps ringing the tone gets louder but after some research I have learned this is an Android feature but one I hope they improve on later in an update.
