How many times as a child have you heard those three words? they are words that we seem to forget when we become adults. Especially when we are adults working on making our business everything that we want it to be. there have been so many moments in the last few years that I have wanted to just give up and go back to working a 9 to 5 job. It would make my life so much easier. However, if I had wanted easy I would have taken that path a long time ago. I wanted to do something that allowed me to accomplish my goals while still supporting my family. Have I accomplished it? Nope, not by a long shot but here are a two things I do that help me never give up in my business life.
FOCUS
That should be such an easy thing to do but it isn’t. Staying focused can be as easy as changing your scenery. I do that from time to time throughout the day. especially if I find that I am stuck on something. Moving from my desk to say the back porch some days brings everything together better than you would think. I also get up and take walks when I am feeling bogged down. The fresh air helps clear my head and it gets me away from my desk. There are plenty of times that I feel chained to the desk and after ten hours or more sitting at it I lose focus on any and every thing. Another trick that helps me stay focused is that I write one thing I am grateful for at the top of my daily schedule. It can be anything. For example some day I write that I am grateful I got my to do list done the day before. It reminds me that not everything is bad even when I’m having a bad day.
FIND THOSE WHO INSPIRE YOU
Finding other entrepreneurs who inspire you is Chrissy Weems is one of the women who inspires me daily. I follow her on Instagram and I love how she always puts her family first. In doing so her business thrives. Why? Because she isn’t afraid to show both sides of her world. She is always so upbeat and on days when I just ain’t feeling it, I check out her latest post. She is what I aspire to. It doesn’t matter if they are in the same business as you or not. Find what inspires you about them and then follow them. you may be surprised at what you could learn. Maybe you will simply be reminded of what is important to you.
Learning to never give up is something that all entrepreneurs need to work at. Even when that contract fell through or you child decides to delete all of the articles you have written. That happened twice now. So to prevent it I password protected not only the computer but my files as well. Those two times it took me all night to rewrite all of those articles but I stayed up and did it. I learned from the mistake and don’t make it now. There are things that I have given up doing because they no longer work for me but I refuse to give up making my business all that I want it to be.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

So true. Staying focused and having someone who inspires are so important. I am not a business person/entrepreneur but those two things have gotten me through some times when I was ready to just chuck it all and do something easier.

Thanks for these great tips. They will work for anyone in any field striving to obtain their goals. Staying focused is sometimes difficult but is so worth it. Sometimes I strive to reach a goal and forget to enjoy the process along the way-the daily living. Thanks for sharing this. Can we ever receive to much inspiration-I think not. Or I can’t anyway.
