I love chocolate! I am just putting that out there to begin with. I also love trying different types of chocolate. That’s why when New Tree Chocolate sent me three of their bars to review I was thrilled. I also made sure I watched for them to arrived because the members of my family can smell chocolate through the package and it wouldn’t have never seen the light of day.
Trying to decide what bar to try first was a bit of a dilemma for me. So I did the rational thing and tried the most exotic (at least for me). It is Gingembre and is a Sexy. Some of New Tree Chocolate bars are labeled as Sexy, Pleasure, you get the idea. I love that, it makes me feel special eating it. This was a bit different. The ginger is subtle but noticeable. It’s a dark chocolate, made from 73% Cacao, so for some you may not like. While it was not my favorite it did hit my sweet tooth in just the right way.
Finally there was the Dark 65% Cocoa. This had the flax seeds as well, but they truly weren’t that noticeable to me. Of all the bars this was by far my favorite. The smell of the chocolate when I opened that bar was heavenly. I wish I could find the words to describe it to you. This is what chocolate is suppose to smell and taste like.
New Tree Chocolate is more than just candy bars. These are candy bars for grown-ups. All of their products are healthy. Yes!! Candy bars apparently can be healthy. New Tree has an assortment of flavors, everthing from Lavender to Apricot. New Tree is also a company who is concerned about the environment. Their Brussells office completely carbon neutral.n

As a friendly note, word verification is horribly time consuming and annoying when you have to do it 13 times. I actually didn’t complete other entries because of the annoyance factor. I just thought you would like to know.
