Over the weekend I hosted a North Star Games party where their game Wits and Wagers Party Edition was featured. The hardest thing about hosting a game party is that in the midst of playing the game it gets hard to take lots of pictures. My sister and her children along with a few other friends came to visit which always makes for a tons of fun. We started the party by having a fabulous dinner (if I do say so myself ) and then played Wits and Wagers Party Edition later that evening.
Wits and Wagers Party Edition is a fairly easy game to play. The game includes, 250 questions – taken from Expansion Pack 1, 125 question cards, 12 betting tokens, 50 poker chips, 6 dry-erase pens, 6 dry-erase player boards and one rules manual. It’s for ages 8+, 4-20 players and takes about 20-25 minutes to play a game. The best part is that you don’t need to know the answers to win! All you have to do is bet on the answer that is the closest to the correct one and win.
Some of the questions were hard! For example one question was “What year did the first woman orbit into space?” Well I thought I knew, I mean Sally Ride right? WRONG!!! I knew when she went up but I didn’t know the year the Russian’s sent a woman up there. We played in teams which made it all the more fun although I was partners with my sister who is not only the world’s worst guesser but the world’s worst better too. The best part was four of the guests got to take a game home with them to enjoy so they can continue to play with their friends and family.
It’s a Twitter Party ~ North Star Games
One Media Squared is hosting not one, but two twitter parties.
Here’s the scoop:

RSVP – While it is not mandatory for you to RSVP, it is the best way to get the latest information and RSVP’ing is the only way to ensure that you are in the running for one of the giveaways as well as the grand prize giveaway.
**I was excited to have the opportunity to work with One Media Squared and North Star Games and they were kind enough to give me Wits and Wagers. All opinions are 100% my own.**
