Susie finally graduated from her class and has become one of the youngest Guardian Angels. Of course Susie is 77 years old (even though she acts like she’s 12) but is the youngest and newest to gain Guardian status. With her halo and status in hand Susie, along with her angel dog Sir Biter, takes on her first assignment. Guarding 15 year old Jill. The fact that Jill doesn’t believe Susie is there to help her is only one of Susie many problems. Her biggest challenge is that she doesn’t always obey the rules and commandments. Susie tend to interfere in mortals lives which causes a rogue angel to attempt get even with her by attacking Jill. Can Susie defend Jill against this rogue angel and change Jill’s destiny or will this cause Susie to lose her status as Guardian Angel before she even as begins?
On Angel’s Wings is one of the most adorable children’s books with a Christian themes I have had the pleasure of reading lately. Susie reminds me very much of Clarence in Miracle on 34th Street. I don’t know if Mr. Hessey intended that but the similarities are there. I would recommend this book for children ages 7-13. Older children may find it too childish however it may surprise you. Younger than seven I would recommend reading to them for it is a lovely story.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I would like to read this with my grandson. I love books that add fun older characters for children to relate to.
