I received OraMD for my review. OraMD is a 4-step Oral Hygiene Program that cleans and polishes teeth, freshens breath, kills bacteria and removes plaque. It is scientifically formulated using three botanical oils: Peppermint, Spearmint and Almond. Unless you have an allergy to peppermint, spearmint or nuts, this product is safe for children age 3 and over. For younger and/or more sensitive users, it is recommended that you dilute the product before using it.
The peppermint in this product has highly potent antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. The spearmint has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-spasmodic properties and is highly efficient at killing several varieties of bacteria. The almond oil is an emollient that allows the peppermint and spearmint to do their jobs.
The directions indicate that an adult can use 2 to 5 drops of OraMD on their toothbrush. The first time I used I could feel my gums tingling while I was brushing but when I rinsed with cold water was when I really felt my mouth come alive. After using the product, my mouth feels very clean and my breath feels fresh and it seems to last a long time longer than with my normal toothpaste.
3 lucky readers will each win a bottle of OraMD to try out for themselves.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I learned that periodontal disease puts you at a higher risk for heart disease, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, respiratory disease, and premature and underweight babies. Scary stuff for sure.

It is an all natural product. I like that idea.

I also read that not caring for your gums and putting your all into good dental care, puts you at risk for various systemic disease or greater risk for others by creating bacteria in your body that can wreak havoc.
“Periodontal bacteria can enter the bloodstream and travel to major
organs and begin new infections. Evidence suggesting that this process
may contribute to the development of heart disease; increase the risk
of stroke; increase a woman’s risk of delivering a preterm low-birth-
weight baby; and pose a serious threat to people whose health is
compromised by diabetes mellitus, respiratory disease or
osteoporosis.” {2} – American Academy of Periodontology
I knew about the Heart Disease but I had NO idea poor dental health can lead to other problems listed.
Thanks!
