Every year for the past few years we get a new ornament for our tree from Ornaments with Love. It is something that we look forward to selecting and take great pains to make sure that we select the perfect one. This year we decided we wanted to honor my father and go with something patriotic and memorable.
So we selected the American Hero Frame Ornament this year. It is great because we had it personalized with my father’s name as well as the year he was born and the year he died on either side of the flag. We can also change the photo to one of my dad. This ornament looks fairly large and it is but one thing it is not is heavy. It doesn’t feel as though it will weight down the tree the way many large ornaments do and I like that.
As I said we can change the photo by simply moving the arms at the back and then sliding them back into place. At $11.99 this is a great keepsake ornament especially for those who want to remember the soldiers in their lives. Christmas was my father’s favorite time of year and having an ornament that celebrates him is like having a little piece of him here with us.
