I face parenting challenges everyday and recently I faced one that drove me to the brink of pulling my hair out. Our septic system is having to be redone and there is a huge hole in the yard right now where they are putting in a new one along with new drain fields. It is a mess and I spend a lot of time keeping the kids out of the mess.
When we first started with this nightmare way back in January (the house needed new water pipes) we had no idea just how big a mess this would become. The septic guy recently pulled a Huggies diaper out of my septic tank! Oh yeah someone thought it was okay to flush it down the toilet. Daniel said that he wanted to help and changed Maggie. He didn’t want to put that int he trash can because it smelled so bad. Between trying to keep the kids away from the hole (I have a horrible fear of one of them falling in) and all of the strange things that my children flush down the toilet apparently, I realized something. As angry as I am about this expensive mess, how can I be too angry when I am the one teaching them how important it is to help and clean up behind themselves.
Remember when I told you that telenovela actress and Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera is partnering with Huggies as the new spokesperson to try out their new and improved diapers and wipes! I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I used Huggies diapers with my son and later the Huggies Pull-Ups. I am happy to report we are out of that stage now.

Well at least you can say the Huggies really do hold up. 🙂 I used to use Huggies when my kids were small and they were great. I am sure they are even better now a days. Sorry you have to go through the mess of a new septic tank. My sister had to have hers replaced a couple of years ago, and it is a pain but worth it in the end.
