Parrot MINIKIT Neo Handsfree Bluetooth for the Car!

Mar 15, 2013 | Rita

Parrot

When driving we all know that the last thing we should be doing is answering the phone. Most of us have Bluetooth that at the least goes into our ears. I have discovered a Bluetooth device that is so much more than your average. It is the Parrot MINIKIT Neo and let me tell you that I have completely fallen in love with this thing.

Parrot MINIKIT Neo

I received a MINIKIT Neo from Parrot to review and the first day I got it I will tell you that my aunt and I had a blast playing with it. The Neo clips onto the visor in your car and is completely voice activated. You simply pair your phone (it can pair more than one) and then you are ready. I love that with the apps (from the app store) I can do all sorts of other things such as text to speech and more. It will even find my car for when I forget where I parked.

How totally cool is that? Parrot has a great range of devices some that can actually be installed in your car but to me the Neo may be the best for parents. I can listen to my music and I also use it on my desk for conference calls so I can work and take part of the call. I have even used it while I was cooking. There is such a freedom in being able to multitask and get so much done. Check out the video to see the Neo in action.

Do you use Bluetooth? If so how often and what type do you use?

Bluetooth is great! I would use one of these if we didn’t have bluetooth built into our car. The hands-free feature in the car is nice.

This is such a great Handsfree Bluetooth. I am glad to have learned about it because I have never heard of this brand. I like that I can do so many things with it and not have to hold a phone. I need to get this!

We have this in our cars. I love it! It is so simple to use and syncs to your phone very easily. What I really love about it is that I can take it with me and use it in any car. When we went on vacation we took it with us to use in the rental car. They are worth every penny!!

ooo I love this. I drive 45min-hour to and from work each day. I do lots of talking on the phone in the car because when I get home the kids need my attention. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t use bluetooth as much as I feel I should! But this device does work really well with a smart phone which I need to get one before I feel like bluetooth would be something I use more frequently. I do like the hands-free aspect of it, though. It would definitely make life more easier! I like how you said the Neo can let you listen to music, but then also take phone calls when you have to. Those are two great functions right there. Thanks for your review! I will definitely look into getting a Parrot bluetooth device in the future!

Excellent way to drive safely with this hands-free system and be in communication with family and friends.

I do not use bluetooth but my hubby does, I think he would LOVE this, (especially the finding the parked car hehe shhh Im not tattling on him), He makes me soooo mad when he calls me while driving the truck. he leaves his bluetooth in his car so this would be awesome for him so he has one in each vehicle!
