Personalized Cart Brings Beauty to the Kitchen

I don’t know about all of you but we spent a lot of time in our kitchen. More time than in any other room in the house (with the except of the bathroom I’m sure) because it seems to be our gathering place. That is why I love finding items that items that make my kitchen look beautiful. When I was looking for an item at Personalized Cart I knew I wanted an item for the kitchen.

Now before I tell you all about my beautiful item I want to be sure to let you know that Personalized Cart has so many other items and not just kitchen stuff. I received this beautiful Custom Cutting Board that looks so much better in person than in the pictures. It is 18 x 12 which is an awesome size that I didn’t realize I needed. I normally have much smaller cutting boards. Made from black walnut wood it had such a wonderful wood smell when I opened the package.

You can have it engraved or not and there are several animal choices. I selected the peacock because I thought it was the most feminine of all the animals. Although I will admit there was an elephant that was a close second choice. This is where it gets tricky at my home. Ma saw this peacock and decided that it needed to go on the dining room table and that no one could use it.  She loves the peacock but feels that it maybe needs to color. I am certain I am going to come into the room one day and see it painted.

I’m not kidding! She would totally do that behind my back if I don’t watch her. I will say that putting it on the table allows us to use it a little more (don’t tell Ma) for things like bread and cheese when we have them.  One thing I wanted to let you know is that you will notice in the pictures that the board looks darker than in the other. It is that darker color in person but the light reflection made it look much lighter in some pics.

This cutting board is thick but not overly heavy. Again, that is a good thing!  I have trouble picking up things with my one wrist anymore so if it is too heavy I wouldn’t be able to move it around much. All in all I am loving this cutting board and if I can keep Ma away from it (not happening) then it will be a wonderful addition to my kitchen.
