Fall is on it’s way! My yard is starting to fill up with leaves that are in need of a good raking. While I love to go out and rake leaves (gives me time to clear my head) I am always nervous about letting Sassy out there with me. The biggest reason is fleas and ticks and I am here to tell you that they are still around in the cooler months! Some ticks, such as the American Dog Tick and the Deer Tick, are more active during the transition into fall. The adult Deer Tick begins its feeding activity about the time of first frost (or early October throughout its range.)
I don’t about all of you but with the sort of luck I have I would catch Lyme Disease or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Don’t laugh! I really would! I can just see me now trying to explain to Edgar just what Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is. I would never be able to explain it let alone that I caught it from the dog of all things! That is why I am so super thankful to PetArmor!
PetArmor kills all of thee four major types of ticks including those that carry Lyme disease which makes me so super happy. I mean I do not want to be catching anything! It also contains the same No. 1 vet-recommended active ingredient Fipronil found in Frontline brand products. PetArmorPro Advanced is a three-month supply. You apply it to the back if the dog’s neck and then don’t worry about those pesky little bitters for 30 days. There is no mess and it goes on very easily. Not to mention that PetArmor

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Thanks for the reminder that pest activity continues into fall. We’re outside more now that the weather’s cooling off, so all the more reason to continue flea and tick control.

This is a good brand of Flea and Ticks. I do not want my dog to get these bugs and I make sure to put this on him when needed. Pet Armor is the best product for this.

Zuzu is an indoor dog and up until this year I have never had a need to treat her for fleas. She has never had them and my hubby treats the yard for them each Spring. But even with that fleas have been a huge pain in the butt this year. I haven’t tried this brand, but I have tried several to no resolution. I will give this a whirl! Thanks.

I didn’t know that fleas and ticks actually get worse this time of year. For some reason I thought they started die off in the fall. I know my mom needs to do something for her dog. Her dog loves to roll in the grass and leaves, so I should check into this for her.
