Peter Rabbit Organics has come out with all new flavors!! I’m thrilled about that. For those of you not familiar with Peter organics, they vegetable and fruit pouches. Each is 100% organic with no added sugar, artificial ingredients or preservatives, and is made in the USA. As a mom I love this. I love know that my children get wholesome good food. Another great thing is you don’t need a spoon. Children can eat straight from the pouch. Of course getting children to eat is a whole other issue.
Sweet Potato, Corn, and Apple is the first of the new flavors. As you all know I am not above sticking these into cakes and other “goody” items. I mean let’s face it, sometimes you have to be creative to get your children to eat healthy. That’s just how it is. Which is why I love this new flavor. The three blends are all sweet so, if you want to add into cakes mix its fine. The sweetness will give it a little kick. I actually made a sort of sweet potato soufflé out of mine. The kids love sweet potatoes and this is a way to get everything in all at once. What I did was divide the pouch up into two ramekins and did little individual soufflés with a little born sugar on top. Both kids loved the taste and didn’t even realize they were eating something that wasgood for them.
Pea, Spinach, and Apple was another story all together. I couldn’t come up with anything to add this to, at first. I kept thinking “How in the world am I going to get them to eat this?” Then divine intervention came in the form of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Well what else could we have to celebrate such a fabulous? Of course….Green Eggs and Ham!!! This pouch served as our food coloring. It allowed the kids to get veggies and fruit while thinking they were eating a forbidden food. I mean it’s not everyday you get green eggs.
The last new flavor of Carrot, Squash, and Apple was easy to get the kids to eat. It is after all orange. So I added it instead of sugar to my famous carrot cake. This never lasts long when I make it so I figured I better get as much goodness into them as I could. The apples gave it unique flavor that no one could quite place and I simply smiled without revealing my secret at all.
{PROS} There are so pros to Peter Rabbit Organics. They make wonderful snacks, you don’t need a spoon, the flavor combinations kids will love, and the new larger 4 oz size is great.
{CONS} The biggest con for us is that we run out to quickly.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
