Philips Sonicare PowerUp

Sep 28, 2015 | Rita

Sonicare PowerUp

[ReviewDisclaimer]

We all know how important oral care is and although I have heard great things about electric toothbrushes I hadn’t really tried one until I was given the chance to try the Philips Sonicare PowerUp and let me tell you I am never going back again! I also had the opportunity to attend a webinar with Style Expert Lilliana Vazquez where she shared 10 awesome tips about saving time and money in my routine.

Feel free to check out the webinar for yourself above and I must tell you that my favorite tip was the DIY pimple minimize which is simply crushed aspirin and water applied onto the skin. That is awesome and I have actually used it a couple of times since I have acne prone skin. 🙁 I seem to have been the only child of parents to get that too and I am not very happy about it. I ended up with the short genes, the everything adds weight genes and more. BUT I’m not bitter or anything! 😉

Sonicare PowerUp 2

I really love the clean feeling I get from using the Sonicare PowerUp Battery Toothbrush and I LOVE that I won’t be spending a fortune in toothbrushes this year. With my OCD I end up changing my toothbrush every couple of weeks and this will save me a lot in the long run. The blue reminder bristles let me know when it is time to replace my toothbrush so in my compulsion I am not thinking it is full of germs and no longer working which means I need to replace it. I also love that it has a two-minute built-in timer so that I brush for the correct about of time. Add to the fact that it also offers the familiar brushing motion of a manual toothbrush as well as a brush head shape similar to what you would experience with a traditional manual toothbrush, but it delivers a more thorough clean with 15,000 brush strokes per minute makes this the best toothbrush EVER! At least in my opinion.

I am excessive about brushing my teeth and my toothbrush also. I haven’t thought about this type toothbrush helping with my OCD when it comes to brushing my teeth and my toothbrush but you could be so right and I may give it a try. Thanks for a great review.

I really think that the pulsating and vibrating action really gets your teeth and inbetween your teeth cleaner.

This does look like a great way to get a clean mouth. I hate those power brushes with the bizarre brushheads, but I know they work better than the old school manual kind. This looks like a good compromise.

I had a Braun electric toothbrush before. My dentist wasn’t particularly supportive of electric toothbrushes so, I wonder what is the real deal about it.

My sister swears by her Sonicare. I use a different brand of sonic toothbrush but don’t feel like it gives the best results. Maybe it’s time to switch back to Sonicare.

I used to have a good toothbrush like this, but went back to “normal” toothbrushes to save a couple bucks. Big mistake. I need to go back to the nice kind, I always felt they cleaned teeth so much better.

I need an electric toothbrush. They do clean so much better. Mine died on me so I’m back to using a manual one. I always keep extras just in case.
