Finding the perfect gift for my mother is usually fairly easy. I always try to find the perfect picture of her and my dad or just my dad by himself and do something great with it. Since he passed away every image is like a life line for her. So when Polaroid Fotobar offered to do a photo for me I knew that I wanted one of them together. Polaroid Fotobar helps you create physical products out of your digital photos.
I received one Framed Art using my photo. It was sent to me printed, matted, and framed. I was able to choose everything like the color of the mat, the color of the frame as well as whether it was wood or not. My mom immediately loved it, so much so she began to cry when she saw it. She hung it in the dining room because that particular wall is where we have most of our family photos.
Polaroid Fotobar has a variety of products to choose like their XXL Polaroid prints. I really love them! I have dozen photos I would love to have on those. Then there is of course the custom art which has things like Lucite Art, Bamboo Art, and much more. I am certain that you will find the perfect gift for that someone special there too. Nothing says it better than photos!

What a thoughtful gift! I’m impressed that you can send in a photo and have it be enlarged to fit the frame size of your choice and it will look natural. So many options for old or new photos. Just checking out the site, I like that they feature an idea section. A perfect photo can turn into a highlight with a customized design idea! The Lucite and Acrylic art customizations look really cool!

This is a great service. It’s nice that they print, matte, and frame it. Seems like Polaroid is making a come back. Hopefully, they bring back the older instant polaroid film next!

What a nice thing to do for mom! I haven’t heard of Polaroid’s Fotobar before, but they do turn out a great product don’t they!?! You didn’t mention how much that would have cost, but I will check out their site. Thanks!

Oh! I saw the name Photobar, but had no idea what it was. Photos are wonderful gifts. My son gave me an album one year of random pics of him, his friends, family, etc growing up. He said that he sort of agonized about how to organize it but decided to go with randomly placed groups of pics. It is wonderful! I cry every time I turn the page and am surprised by memories.

How beautiful! I too think photographs make fantastic gifts. I live 3000 miles away from my mom so she has a small (okay I lied HUGE) obsession with me sending pictures of her Grand babies. I have two siblings that also live with her and neither have children so she demands at least one photo a week from each child or two of them together. But this is nice because I always have such a hard time finding a frame that will match her collections! She is very picky about matching decor, and loves metal frames. Until now I kinda thought Polaroid was loosing the photography war, but this definitely changed my opinion!!!!!

I have heard of Polaroid Fotobar, but I did not know what it was all about until now. I like that it was printed, matted, and framed when you received it. I would love to have one of my special pictures done like this. Awesome!

How neat! I love that you can just send them the picture and they take care of the rest. I have several family pictures I need to have copies made up for my brother and sisters. This would make a great gift.
