Ever have a dream that simply affected you? I remember having a dream of giving birth a few months after my first miscarriage.
I remember clearly to this day and will never forget when I heard the words “We have a son.” I woke up in tears but that dream stuck with me always.
So has the one where my father walked up to me in the middle of a war zone and said ” Don’t worry, I will take care of them.” Then he walked off. At the time my siblings and I were arguing. Recently I had a couple of dreams that were vivid like that. They stuck with me as though they were trying to tell me something. This morning I awoke from a dream that was both strange and surreal. I was at the ER and kept going because I had some stitches in the weirdest place!
Not sure if the stitches were important or not. The placement of them have been similar in other dreams this week. Anyway when it was time for the stitches to come out I was sitting waiting my turn. Everyone got up and started singing! They were signing this song but the words weren’t right. I kept thinking to myself that they had the words wrong. Then all of a sudden out of no where came a voice that said “God is real.” I woke up as soon as that was said but felt like it was God telling me. Now maybe it was just a dream, maybe it was my subconscious. I don’t know but I know it will stick with me.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I think that God’s ways can be mysterious and he can speak to us in ways we my not understand. God is definitely very real.

I think God talks to us in our dreams sometimes because it is in those moments when we can block him out. We don’t have control so he can takeover and do or say whatever.

Wow, I’ve never had a dream with such impact, it must be truly amazing; a little frightening I would believe but still amazing
Rita says
It was both and when I woke I thought “Was that real?”

I have had very vivid dreams where I wake up and have to ask my husband if it was real or a dream. So I understand what you mean about how vivid they can be. Maybe this was God’s way of letting you know he has been hearing you and your prayers. It could be part of his plan.

Maybe, I hope so. I know once I saw God in my dream. The reason I know it was because I also saw Satan who was in the form of a child and I was in hell. Then suddenly this man took my hand and I had such a feeling of safety and goodness. He said “Wake up, it’s alright.” I don’t always have vivid dreams they are usually crazy and mixed up.

My husband has very vivid dreams. They are often totally bizarre in terms of the imagery. I rarely seem to remember my dreams. Interesting detail about the stitches. You did not share where they are in the dreams (it may be too personal) but there must be some significance to their placement since it recurs.
Rita says
It was a bit personal but they have been there a few times. However what happened to cause them is unknown. There is no pain though.

I sometimes have dreams I forget and cant really remember at all, then ones I have I remember step by step. When I was a kid I had a dream about my grandpa passing away, a few days before I had the dream he was in the hospital for medical problems, but no one thought it was too serious. Anyway back to the dream, after I woke up from my dream, I ran downstairs to to tell my parents that I think grandpa had passed, as I got to my mom in the living room, she was just hanging up the phone and said your grandpa just passed away. I was so confused, cause in my dream he was saying goodbye. And it seemed so real.
