Have you ever thought that your regular hamburger or hotdog bun needed something a little more? Maybe wished it had a little more flavor? Let me introduce you to Pretzilla, a unique sort of bread company. They make buns from a pretzel recipe that gives you that something more you are looking for.
Since 1923, Miller Baking Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been hand-crafting old world recipes. So it’s only fitting we’ve taken a 12th-century invention -the pretzel- and turned it into the most delicious bun of our time. They’re available in burger buns, sausage buns and mini buns.
I was sent a Sample Case of (1 pack each) hamburger, sausage, and mini buns and was very intrigued by them. Each pack comes with its own packet of salt that you can choose to add or not. I did not put the salt on the mini buns, which was the first we tried, because we were trying them with spaghetti. They were very good, warm, and chewy, but I will say that I preferred them with the salt as opposed to without. The hamburger buns are HUGE! They are much bigger than the standard ones you buy in the store and when you add the salt to them they give your burgers a very distinctive flavor that my family loved. The sausage buns were equally as great because we added the salt.
Pretzilla is certainly a brand I will continue to use and give to my family because when we are in the mood for something different it is easy to have that while still giving my family something that is good for them. You, too can try Pretzilla by entering below for your chance to win the same Sample Case that I reviewed.
