So The Protect Her Series so far only goes to Part Seven which is the part that I am going to share with you now. This series has really drawn me in and I have really enjoyed even though it is not something I would normally read. This one as well as the others is written novella style which means it is approximately 20,000 words and have that blasted cliffhanger that I have come to associate with Ivy Sinclair.
About the Series
Human. Angel. Demon.
Three species that have coexisted since the beginning of time, although humankind is blissfully unaware of the predators and protectors that walk among them. But there is a new threat emerging that affects them all.
The story begins when an innocent girl is saved from certain death by a man who straddles the worlds of darkness and light. Their relationship holds the key to saving everyone.
About Part Seven
We’re back on Calamata Island, but not in the way that we expected. Now Paige and I have added to our demon problem by winding up in the middle of an archangel political battle. Benjamin’s brothers are questioning his ability to lead, and are eager to replace him in light of his recent entanglements. Archangels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with someone who is destined to destroy them all.
Benjamin is the keeper of the relic that we seek. Despite how he feels about Paige, there’s no way Benjamin’s handing it over. I hope that if we help Benjamin maintain control of the archangels and the island, Benjamin will reconsider his position to help us.
Benjamin refuses to trust anyone but Paige, so I have to step aside and allow Paige to work with Benjamin to retrieve the relic. In the meantime, it’s up to me to assist the other archangels in resolving an old problem related to the mythology of Calamata Island. But somehow I’ve ended up in a worse situation than before and the tables are turned. This time, I might need Paige to save me.
My Thoughts
In Part Seven we meet Benjamin’s brothers and boy are they not happy especially not when Paige has Eva living inside her waiting to come out and pretty much destroy them. However I have some thoughts on that such as I think that Paige is simply too good of a person even if she doesn’t feel that way. Benjamin is still shady to me and I have a feeling that he knows more about who betrayed Eva’s Protector all those years ago then he is willing to share.
Riley and Paige are separated a bit in this book but once they are back together you can feel their strength through the pages. They work together to go and try to close the gate to hell but Bruno Proctor has other plans which left me speechless and then learning I had to wait til later this month for Part Eight almost made me want to cry. I have only thing I wish to say to Ms. Sinclair…..please let Riley and Paige have some sort happy ending or at least another night together.
More About Protect Her Part 7
You can purchase this book on Amazon. The best way to keep up with when the next book is coming out is to sign up for the newsletter over at the author, Ivy Sinclair’s, website. I did so I would know and be ready to jump at the chance.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
