Protect Your Pet with PetArmor®

May 26, 2014 | Rita

Disclosure: This is part of a sponsored campaign with the Mom It Forward Blogger Network and PetArmor®. Although I received compensation for this post all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

 PetArmor

Warm weather has arrived and now more than ever it is super important that Sassy be protected from fleas and ticks. She loves to go outside but I hate the things that may get on her and bother her. That is why we love the PetArmor® Plus IGR for dogs.

This topical solution contains  fipronil, the No. 1 veterinarian-recommended active ingredient used in FRONTLINE® brand products*. The product also contains Novaluron, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that kills flea eggs and stops the reinfestation cycle. That all sounds super technical to me so I will break it down for you. We live in the woods, I am talking way out in the middle of nowhere woods. There are all sorts of creepy crawly things out there to jump on Sassy.

PetArmor 2

PetArmor® Plus IGR costs less than FRONTLINE® and it WORKS! We apply it once a month and then we are good to go. My aunt who lives not far from me has a dog that spends the entire year with fleas and ticks. She has bought everything she can think of and nothing seems to work. I keep telling her to buy PetArmor® but she won’t listen. There are a few things that you need to consider when you are buying PetArmor® Plus IGR though so that you are buying the right product for your dog’s species.

Sassy

Be sure that you know your dog’s weight because that is how you will know which product you need. Plus your dog’s age is important. Not mention you should never split the tubes between two dogs or apply it too soon. It should only be applied 30 days after the last flea and tick application

Learn more about how PetArmor® products can protect your pet from fleas and ticks this year. Not to mention by checking them out on Facebook and Twitter. Plus be sure to learn more about ticks by visiting TickEncounter.org

I will have to try this sometime as it sounds like a great lower cost option for my dog.

It truly is! We love it and really love that we can afford it.
