On day 13 of the 25 Days of Me I want to share with y’all a favorite hot chocolate recipe that I adore. It is one that I make often this time of the year since I don’t drink coffee. his is a great alternative to the plain old boring hot chocolate. Not to mention a great way to use all that left over pumpkin.
It is fairly straight forward and easy to make. I will say once, in a pinch I tore apart left over pumpkin pie and just used the inside of it with the chocolate instead of the pumpkin and the spices. It worked well, although I will admit it was a bit sweeter than just using the recipe.
The kids love getting this and I do my best not to mess with the recipe as it is perfect for Sam and his refusal to eat or drink a lot of things. He loves it and will drink a gallon of it if I let him.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
