Radiators Up-Close and Personal

Not long ago I told you all how much I wanted to know more about radiators. Heaters that is and I got the chance to see one up close and personal recently. What surprised me the most was how stylish the one that I saw was. I had expected something how of a bygone era I guess.

I didn’t know that they came in designer choices. I assumed that all you could ever get was the old ones that look like a row of pipes. It just goes to show what I know. The home that I visited stayed warm and comfortable the entire time I was there. That was something I wasn’t sure about because I thought it wouldn’t stay warm. That was because of all the movies I saw where a tenant would bang on the radiator the whole time.

Another thing I got to see was a towel rail radiator and let me tell you that this is the way to go. I have never had a towel warmer in my life but I know that I need one now.  Can you imagine getting out of the bath or shower and wrapping yourself in a warm fluffy towel? That has to be the most luxurious feeling in the world. It is one that I want to give a go that is for certain. Now a towel rail radiator is a little different from a towel warmer because it will also heat the entire room. If I ever have the chance to build my dream home I can tell you right now that this is the heating I will use in the bathrooms. Especially in the smaller one.
