Ever have one of those days where you are trying to get a million things done but your computer is having a fit? You know the day that your computer makes dial-up seem like high-speed and all you can think is that you need Geeks Mobile USA!! Well I think that or I want to throw this thing in the floor, however I do refrain from doing that (or I at least try to.)
The old girl you see in the picture has gotten me through a lot and I try to be good to her by giving her regular checkups and making sure that she runs smoothly. The down side to being a blogger is that we have to download a lot of information at times, such as images. All of this can cause things to slow down and become sluggish. The other down side is that it can be really easy to pick up a virus or a Trojan and not even know it. It has happened to me twice and let me tell you finding Computer Repair Services that can get to you right away can be a hassle. I once had to try to find help on a Saturday and I cannot even begin to tell the cost associated with it being a weekend and a rush job.
I honestly didn’t know that finding help would be so difficult but I do live in a small town and the bad thing was I had to drive my computer there, come home, wait for the phone call, and then go back and pick it back up. All the while hoping that my files could be recovered and I could get back to work smoothly and quickly. The entire experience taught just how important regular maintenance was. So how do I maintain my computer? I do everything I can to make sure she stays clean and is dust free. I run daily scans to check for viruses and do the occasional defrag just to be sure. I also empty my trash bin at the end of everyday so I am careful to only delete what I no longer need. I don’t know if any of that helps but it is what I do to try to keeping things going smoothly.

As a person that has both a Windows PC and a Macbook, I find that your article is definitely true of the Windows-based machine. However, the Apple-based, Macbook I have literally requires no maintenance and I’ve never gotten a virus or anything that causes permanent problems. I think the maintenance requirements are due to a system built on a faulty architecture. I the Windows machine for work and the Macbook for personal use, so I’m not taking sides, but I have to say that, in my experience with Mac’s, there’s no need for the type of system maintenance required of Windows-based PC’s.

How do they say it? The cobbler’s kids have no shoes? Well, my computer is always a mess. I admit, I know very little about computers. I know how to check my email and learned how to tweet, get on facebook and to do Google search. Pretty much that. When I was in school I cried many a times because I “lost” my written papers. Now, I get so irritated and get shut down by viruses my hubby says is from “being on so many sites and blogs”. He just HAPPENS to be a software engineer and well, it took him over 9 months to get to our old PC in the basement to try and fix it. Took an hour and no money at all..just time. And my cheap laptop is always “overloaded”. Needs a good housecleaning but alas, the computer engineers family has not working computers much of the time. You’re right…regular maintenance is SO important!
I am so wanting a Mac Jimmy but OH how expensive they are. Our neighbors swear BY it, unlike me who swears AT mine. LOL!

My husband and I run a small cyber cafe within the busy environs of Margate. Due to heavy use by customers, we constantly have our computers maintained. Our prior firm was starting to charge way too much. We needed a company who would be affordable and also dependable. We decided to contact Data Ninja Services after viewing their website http://www.dataninjaservices.com and would recommend them to anyone.
