Did that headline grab your attention? I hope that it did because if you are in college or have a college bound child I want to tell you about CampusBookRentals.com. They offer virtual textbook rentals for college students and their prices are fabulous. You get 40-90% off bookstore prices, free shipping both ways, flexible renting periods, and you can even highlight in the textbooks.
When I said you get 40-90% off bookstore prices I meant it. I checked out their price on Blogging for Dummies and I can tell you that other places wanted a whole lot more for this book. I think I will be renting a few books soon, I know that I don’t need Blogging for Dummies but if you simply type blog into the search bar you get all sorts of great books I may like to read through and learn a few new things. If the due date is not long enough for you or even too long you have the option of selecting another one and the price automatically adjusts. What could be better?
I’ll tell you want is better, the fact that CampusBookRentals.ocm donates to Operation Smile every time you rent a textbook. Operation Smile is a wonderful organization who performs life changing clef lip surgeries on children whose families could not afford it. I have seen these and will tell you that this operation can change a child’s entire life. So take some time to find the textbooks you need for a fraction of the cost and help a child in need.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This is such a great concept. Books can be so expensive… I’ll never forget my first trip to the bookstore freshman year! And I love that you can still highlight them.

This is one of those things you say “it’s about time’ college books are outrageous now- and there are very few you really keep and use afterwards (although you could rerent them if needed ) I like the concept of this!

I wish we’d known about this when my son was doing his undergrad! Of course, there are some textbooks that are of enough interest to keep for reference, but most college textbooks are huge expenses that are used only for a semester–some used for just a chapter or two during a semester. This program could save so much money! I like that this company gives to operation Smiles–such a good cause. I do choose companies that give back and support communities.

When I was thinking about going back to school I looked into purchasing books. OMGoodness they’re so expensive. I couldn’t see myself paying that for one book specially since I wasn’t going to be using it for long. I am glad to see companies like this, it really helps those going to school.
