The new year will be here in a matter of days! This new year in the infinite list of resolutions that I am working on making along with everyone else int eh world there is more that I have made and will be keeping. It is a very simple resolution…..MORE
I will be concentrating on myself and my children more and learning to be the woman I know that I am. There is a lot of things that I know I need to take care of and deal with but at this moment I am making sure my children know that things will not change for them. The decisions of others have affected us for far too long.
I am dedicated this year to finding and knowing the faith that I have so wanted and seemed to fail me. Even on the days when I stumble I know that it is simply a small step back.My new year is going to bring me the change i have waited so long for. I ask that you all pray I have the strength and courage to see this all the way to the end.
Please leave your prayer requests below.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Rita I pray that God will give you all the strength you need to make the changes you need to make. I pray that he will be with you and comfort you through the changes. Please continue praying for my daughter and that she will continue to get playing time. I am afraid she if she doesn’t she won’t want to stay in college as school is not easy for her. Also please pray that she would have a change of heart towards my husband.
Rita says
Thank you Denise and I will be praying for your daughter. I pray that she will have a change of heart towards your husband and not only that she gets playing time but that she realizes how much more important college and the accomplishment of graduating will be for her because it is difficult for her. I know that God has wonderful things planned for her.
Denise Taylor-Dennis says
Thank you for your prayers I really believe God has great things planned for her too. My daughter moved in with my sister last year although mostly she is at school in the dorms. The holiday times are especially difficult for me because she doesn’t want to set foot in the house. She did come over for a while on Christmas and my husband when in the other room. Its just not the same as when she lived here unfortunately I don’t think it will ever be the same.

Good for you! I think it’s time that you put yourself and the needs of your children first. I am a firm believer of taking the bull by the horns so to speak. You deserve way more then you have been settling with. I also think by taking the lead instead of just following you will find what a strong amazing person you are! You have become more confident over the last year. Don’t let anyone or anything take that from you! Make the changes you want, be in charge of the situation and deal with it one day at a time.
I will be praying for you and your children.
My prayer request this week is for my daughter. She has been having stomach pains. They thought it was her appendix but it turned out it wasn’t that. The doctors are still running test. This has been going on for two weeks now. Any extra prayers would be appreciated. Thank you!

This year my resolution is to put all things in God’s hands. I pray this for you as well. He will provide us both with the strength and the courage and resolve that we need to make it through the most trying of times. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Please know that I do keep you and your family in my prayers.
Rita says
That is a good resolution Robin and I know that God will help both of us. You and your family are in my prayers as well.

Rita, I know that you will succeed in what you set out to do this next year. I will continue to pray for you. My prayer request is to finally find work. I still am waiting to hear back from a great opportunity that I really welcome. I am leaving results to God as I keep up with my search. I hope to find work soon because the long search is exhausting and painfully full of rejection.

To great success for you in this upcoming year, I’ve been struggling with my health for 4 years close to 5 years, my disease has crippled me to the point I don’t want to get out anymore, I am thankful that I have a great support system at home, been blessed with a great family, those are the things that I focus on daily. You’re in my thoughts Rita
Rita says
You are in my thoughts as Ginette! I know that a disease can be one of the hardest things in life to go through. I think that you are an amazingly strong woman and pray that you find some comfort.

I know you will succeed in what you set out to do, Rita!! My prayer request is for my Papa Frank and Grandma Pat! He is currently in a long term nursing facility with Alzheimer Disease & he is deteriorating fast. He knows no one, is mouthy, vulgar & very hard to get along with. He doesn’t even know his wife of almost 60 years. This Holiday season has been very hard on her. It’s the first they haven’t been “together” in their marriage. She has been very depressed. I love both of them more than words can say.
Rita says
Jessica,
I am so sorry for your grandparents. I know the sort of toll that Alzheimer’s takes on a family. I will be praying for you all.
