I told you before that this series really took me by surprise and I found myself having to hurry and purchase the other books to find out what was going on. Well in Reunited the 2nd book in the Lost Highlander Series author Cassidy Cayman did it again. She creates an ending where you simply go “Wait! What!!!!” You left wanting more and needing to know what happened.
Piper’s hot Highlander is back from the eighteenth century, desperate to save her life.
It seems he might have had something to do with the reason she’s in danger, but every time she tries to get a straight answer, he distracts her with what’s under his kilt.
Never to be parted again, they have to return to the past together. Can Piper use her ancestor’s spell without succumbing to its darkness?
And will Sam and Evie ever get engaged?
You read that right Lachlan has come back! Even though he swore he wouldn’t and that Piper was not to use the book again to find him. His last words to her in book 1 was how much he loved her and then he was gone. Now she finds him in the attic bleeding to death. He tells her she is in danger but there is something he is hiding and you know it. Every time Piper tries to ask him he interrupts her with his kisses and then she forgets.
Sam and Evie are also back and I really by now they should be not only engaged but married. Evie has a secret that she is keeping from Sam and I am pretty sure that Piper really just wants to smack the heck out of her for not just telling him. One of the things I really like is that Piper goes back with Lachlan in order to take care of some family business (her family is crazy and dangerous) and deal with the danger she is in. It is when they are back in time that Piper learns Lachlan’s big secret. I plowed through this book and then went straight into book 3!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
