Rocky Mountain Popcorn Review

Aug 03, 2012 | Rita

Rocky Mountain Popcorn

Popcorn is the perfect snack for my family. We can all get a different flavor that we love without having to spend an arm and a leg. Of course when I am able to find such a great company as Rocky Mountain Popcorn you know I have to share it with all of you.

Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company started over 20 years ago in the eastern foothills of the great Rocky Mountains near Denver, CO. Long known, and much admired, as a great local product, the company grew by reputation until 2007, when it exploded onto the national scene, bringing the bold taste of the Rockies to a nation hungry for wholesome snacks.

When people ask us how popcorn can be real or honest, we say “Glad you asked!” Rocky Mountain Popcorn is real: it’s light, fresh, crisp and big… just like the mountains themselves. We find the biggest, moistest kernels we can, and only hot-air pop them. Rocky Mountain Popcorn is honest: it’s delicately coated with natural flavors, not smothered with pretentious-sounding hoo-ha. You won’t find corn syrup or partially hydrogenated anything in Rocky Mountain Popcorn.

We were sent several flavors of popcorn to try out and I will tell you all about my favorite in one second. First I want to tell you the flavor that caught my children’s eyes simply from the name, Naked. It cracked them up and I had to explain what naked popcorn was. Needless to say that was the flavor they had to try first because they had all sorts of ideas about it regardless of what I said. They loved it too which surprised me. My favorite was Caramel for all the obvious reasons of course. This is so buttery and smooth that I ate the whole bag by myself before I even knew it. Guess it was a good thing the bag wasn’t that big.
