Saint of the Month was something that intrigued me since I am Catholic. I mean not a lot of place offer something for Catholics. Although I will tell you that this is for any Christian. It is not solely for Catholics at all. In fact, I think that many non-Catholics will enjoy this subscription box.

Each item is wrapped for each week and you follow along with each week doing whatever the card included tell you. There is also a little pamphlet that gives you information on the saint for that month. Since this box was Jesus that was the information provided.
Week 1
This week was about doing an act of charity for someone else. The cd included in this was used as an inspiration and a way to reflect on Jesus’ message.
Week 2
This week was all about journaling which is why I unwrapped a beautiful journal. It is the Jesus is Always Alive Journal by Sarah Young. The task was to write in the journal each day to strengthen my relationship with Jesus.
Week 3
This week was an easy one for me. We light candles all the time in the Catholic faith to remember those we have lost or who we want to say a special prayer for. It helps to remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. The purpose of this week was to light the candle and pray to Jesus. In doing that we could grow in the virtue of piety.
Week 4
It’s all about the golden rule. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I grew up with this rule on the wall in our kitchen. I have no idea why it was in the kitchen, but it was. In fact, from my spot at the table I could see this clearly. Maybe my mother was trying to tell me something. The bracelet from 3Strands is a beautiful reminder of that rule now. By the way, that little picture that hung in our kitchen, hangs in mine now.
Saint of the Month is a subscription box that will help you practice your faith each week. With things divided into smaller tasks it is much easier. It brings the saints into your daily life in a way that most of them have never been before. That is something I can get behind. There aren’t too many faith-based companies that bring that much to the table for me. I have been lucky to find a few this year and I am thrilled to say that this is one of them.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
