Sand Dune Books have these wonderful journals called Between You and Me. They are journals that you give to your family member and then that person writes in it, anserwing the questions, and gives it back to you. I love those sort of books and gifts. It’s two gifts in one. Actually it’s more than two because you can then pass it down to your children and their children. For example after your mother or father is gone it will be written records of their thoughts and feelings.
The other thing I love about Sand Dune Books is that they offer two of the journals in Spanish, Mama and Papa. for me this is a wonderful oppurtunity for my husband to write in his own language. Even for his parents to do the same.
The first page of each journal has a letter explainging what it is and what you would like for the person receving the journal to do.
The other pages ae similar to this. They ask questions that make the writer think. They then write in their thoughts and feelings.
Sand Dune Books have a variety of journals for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, reuions, and more. The spanish verison only come in parents but it is my hope that they will expand those as well.
