Disclosure: This post is part of the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® 2014 program by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them.
Did you know that Earth Day is April 22nd? It is and I know that you all know how important it is to recycle and do your part. Do you recycle in the bathroom? We do in a couple of ways. We recycle the plastics that are in our bathroom including those from HEALTHY ESSENTIALS®! First though make sure you get all of that liquid out of the bottom! I look like a crazy lady with my plastic scraper but hey we use it all!
We also use those crazy plastic grocery bags (when we actually get them) as trash bags in the bathrooms. They fit perfectly in the small trashcan and when it is time to empty the can I just dump it into the larger can leaving the bag. Those are just a couple of the ways we do our part in the bathroom. The bathroom is full of items that we use everyday and can recycle. As much as I love doing my part, HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® makes it easier by helping me save money on those everyday items.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Thanks for the heads up on the Healthy Essentials program. A lot of these products are products I use. I always recycle my empty shampoo bottles, mouthwash and body wash bottles. Everyone doing their part.

I actually did know that April 22 is Earth Day! It’s my mom & dad’s anniversary (has been for the past 19 years lol). We use the plastic grocery bags for trash bags in the bathroom also! We cloth diaper Rosalie & also I don’t use pads or tampons, I use the Diva Cup. We try to do our part in recycling. Thanks for the heads up about this program!

We recycle like crazy! We recycle all the plastic bottles. We also recycle the toilet paper roll cardboard, Kleenex boxes, shaving cream cans and of course all the packaging from items. We recycle so much that we started going to every other week trash pick up.
Thanks for the great coupons! These are products that we use all the time. Especially with summer coming I need to pick up some Neutrgena Sunscreen.

Just like you I like to get all the bits out of the bottles of lotion, shampoo, etc. We have a trash can thorough the city where we can put anything recyclable in it and I try to put absolutely everything that is recyclable in there.

I never thought about a plastic scraper for those bathroom plastic bottles! That’s got to be better than wasting all that water to wash them out! Thanks for the tip!
