Oh boy… where do I begin? I love berries of all kinds, especially black cherries and strawberries, and can’t wait for peaches to come out! My favorite summertime food is grilled corn on the cob! We usually get fresh corn (well, this was a lot easier when we lived between corn fields), shuck them, split each ear of corn into hold-able sizes and then wrap them in aluminum foil before we set them on the grill. The best part is this sweet and spicy sauce that we make from unrefined sugar, lime and chili pepper that we spread once our cobs have been grilled. So delicious!

I have several favorite summer foods. Around this time we have many family cookouts so there is always some type of yummy easy to eat food. In the summer I tend to hit the fruit bowl a lot more than normal. Watermelon is my absolute favorite and I even drink watermelon juice. That might be good in that mixer 🙂 I feel that fruit is a healthy food to replace vitamins and electrolytes we lose when we sweat out in the soon and it is just so refreshing. Favorite summer food? Do I have to pick just one?? Believe it or not, one of my favorite summer meals is a big bowl of corn chowder made with fresh corn on the cob, lots of bacon, and of course, lots of cheddar cheese. Then a BLT to continue the bacon-goodness. But no summer meal is complete without a frozen margarita to start off!

hmm….favorite summer food? FOr some reason as soon as I read that I thought hot dogs. I guess it is just the most associated with summer rather than the utmost favorite. I like my dogs on a toasted bun with melted cheese, 2 kinds of mustard, raw red onions and caraway sauerkraut. That should get bast the canned meat filter i hope. 🙂

My favorite summer meal is anything grilled for father’s day I made my hubby and dad some really good honey BBQ chicken on the grill and some grilled corn so yummy!!

I love fraps from starbucks. they even make them in glass bottles and sell them in stores. I also can not stop chewing ice in the summer

My favorite food in the summer is grilled corn on the cob. I love the sweetness that grilling creates in the corn and nothing better than being able to get it from the local farmer’s market!
