I was so thrilled when I was selected as a Hive Ambassador which means you are going to see a lot of things in the coming weeks. Now I know you are all are thinking the same thing! What in the world is Hive? Well let me tell you a little about it and show you some awesomeness. Hive is a family of smart products that can all be controlled from your smart phone. Let me tell you that is something that I needed. Since we’ve have been on vacation controlling the temperature among other things in the house stresses me out. With the senior citizens at home it means that they are free to move the thermostat up and down. 

Since we were so late getting home and getting things set up you will have to wait for videos. Not to mention my brother installed this for me since I would blow something up. I thought today I would share with you all of the products that I received. That way next time I can walk you through using and the installation of them.  The Home Plan that I received gave me everything I needed to get started.

The  Hive Active Thermostat™ is my favorite product which you will find out why over the next few weeks. This controls your heating and cooling system which means when they play with the temperature and I am not at home I can  fix it quickly. It also means that we can all be gone for several days and still be able to adjust the temperature as we need to. There is nothing worse than coming home to a hot or cold house. Now I can cool things off or heat things up depending on the weather and without having the heating or cooling unit running the entire time we are gone.- Controls your home heating and cooling system

These Hive Active Lights™ handle switching lights on or off, setting timers for them to come on or off or even dimming them. I don’t have any lights that dim in the house so I am so excited about these. I know they are going to be life changing! 

Not to mention how much help the Hive Active Plug™  which turns on electrical appliances will be. I can check to be sure I turned off the flat iron now. The Hive Window or Door Sensors will send an alert to my phone when the door has been opened. this is helpful on a couple of doors that are wired for anything else at home. I will know when the kids are getting into places they shouldn’t.

The Hive Hub is what makes everything awesome. You just plug it into your broadband router which allows you to control all of ypour Hive products. Couldn’t be easier. It honestly takes like two seconds.
