Okay I admit it, this is my closet. I know…. I know… I am so organized and together well now you know my dirty little secret. Everything is organized and together except for my closet. I HATE cleaning the closet, picking things up in there, and anything else that goes along with it. I have no idea why but I do. SmartDeco though has come to my rescue in an unexpected way.
SmartDeco is a new sort of furniture made out of corrugated cardboard but they are stronger than pizza boxes! Actually they are very strong and manage to hold my junk which is saying a lot.
SmartDeco products are way stronger than pizza boxes, but they’re both made from paper. How? Strength is a factor of the length of wood chip fibers used and the density, or number of fibers pressed into a single sheet. We max out on both of these.
The sent me a SmartStand and I knew just what I wanted to do with it. First I began putting it together which was very easy. I followed the instructions in the online video and had it together in no time. It took me about 30-45 minutes but I had kids trying to help me so it may have gone faster.
Once it was together I put it in my closet and use one drawer for all those baby items that seem to end up in my closet. The drawers are deep and I was able to fill them to the top. The top drawer I use for my sweaters and scarves. I really love how everything fit and they pull out and push in smoothly.
The top is reserved for my bags and a few odds and ends. A little more rearranging and as you can see I went from having no space to having more than enough. Of course it would be better if I had a larger closet, maybe I could take some of hubby’s stuff out of his and use that space. I wonder?

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

We live in a house that has no closets except on in the bedroom that hubby built in. Our home was built in 1901 – I dont have a place to hide things!

My closet needs organizing too. I like that you can collapse it when moving, it’s lightweight and seems to store a lot. I have a box of books in my closet and take whatever storage I can get!

I kid you not, my closet is worse! I don’t know how it happens but I think it is because I share it with my hubby and he is a closet slob! The stand is nice and would be great for our seasonal items. Being made of cardboard not sure it would hold up to daily use. Wonder if you could stack 2 of them!

I need this for my daughters closet. I could also use one for the corner of her room for her art supplies. Shae always has about 5 projects going at a time. So that means everything is scattered throughout her room. This would be great.
