Don’t you love a party? We had an afternoon tea and having the proper items for event was super important. It was more of a tea luncheon as a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with some of my friends. Smarty Had a Party helped us have some of the best items I could have hoped for. It really set the tone of the event and looked like I had spent a fortune on supplies.
They must have know how much I would love purple tablecloths and overlays because the package I received had a beautiful purple tablecloth in it. I ‘m not talking about one of those cheap plastic ones either. This was the real deal and I can’t tell you it is awesome! Oh and before you ask….yes those are leaves. I live in the woods and there seem to be leaves everywhere all year. Back to the tablecloth. It covered the card table easily without hanging onto the floor.
The silver dinnerware complemented the tablecloth well. When all placed together on the table everything looked like very high-end and well put together. You would have thought I pulled out the family silver. The detail on the forks was what really took the cake in my opinion.
The salad plates where heavy plastic. The kind of plastic that you can wash and reuse over and over. They had a silver ribbon around them that only made them look all the more upscale. While these were perfect for our tea luncheon I could also see these being used to place a mini cake or dessert on and then wrapped prettily for guests to take home.
The champagne glasses were awesome! I thought I was gonna have to wrestle them from the kids. The bottoms come off but they twist on and off. so that means they will stay on. There are a lot of possibilities with these. Other than drinking out of them you could fill them with mints or little hearts. Wrap them in cellophane and you have a great party favor. You could put a flower in them for decorations. You are limited only by your imaginations.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
