Welcome to the Blogging Empire (BE) Society Wedding Series! All throughout the month of September BE Society bloggers will be sharing wedding tips with you. This series came about because one of members is getting remarried and another is getting married next years. When a little advice was sought our bloggers sprang into action and the fury of ideas began something we could share with all of our readers. Because as we all know weddings can be stressful in the best of times and as women we always want things to be perfect.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Share a wedding tip? Don’t break the bank. You can still have a lovely wedding without spending a lot of money.
Skip the big wedding and go to Vegas, spend the money on buying a home.
Have fun and don’t freak out.
My advice is to follow your own heart. Don’t let other force you to do things their way. It is supposed to be your day. so make it how you want it.
Plan ahead and work smart, accept help and be prepared to compromise for your own sanity.
Don’t have TOO many bridesmaids
Go somewhere intimate and warm for your wedding and then have your reception later on. No big frills because I believe it’s gotten WAY out of hand and way too “commercialize” and competitive. I am in the midst of this now with my daughter and she is very frugal but having a hard time dealing with the costs of everything. So ridiculous!
