This week’s word is latir lah-teer’ (verb) which means to beat as in your heart. I actually really like this word but I have no idea why. Here are a couple of examples:
1.) Cuando la veo, mi corazón empieza a latir rápidamente.
When I see her, my heart starts to beat faster.
2.) Estoy muy fuera de forma. Apenas corrí cinco minutos y el corazón me late a mil.
I’m very out of shape. I barely ran five minutes and my heart is beating a mile a minute.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This is a good word. I will have to see how I can work it into a sentence with my daughter this week. Probably something about my heart beat faster when I saw how messy her room was. Lol!
