This week’s word is acaso ah-kah’-soh (adverb) which menas by chance, maybe, perhaps. It is a word that I have used often espeically lately.
Examples
1: Mientras estuviste en la oficina, ¿acaso viste mis llaves? Las perdí por algún lado.
By any chance did you see my keys while you were in the office? I lost them somewhere.
2: Acaso este año vaya a esquiar durante las Navidades.
Maybe this year I’ll go skiing during my Christmas vacation.
This is also an idiom:
1:por si acaso just in case
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
