Okay this week’s word is one that you will use form time to time. Especially as a woman and mother who maybe like me is trying to redo her house and keep it looking good. This week’s word is el cojín {koh-heen’} which is a noun that means cushion or throw pillow. Here is a couple of examples:
1: Mi esposo no le gustan los cojines decorativos en la cama.
My husband doesn’t like the decorative cushions on the bed.
2: Deja los cojines rojos en el sofa grande.
Leave the red cushions on the red couch.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

That is cool I see how it is used a little differently, same as English can be. One more word added to my Spanish!

Thanks for the lesson! How do you say “If you spill that juice on my cushions, it’s curtains for you!” LOL.
