This week’s word is a good one! It is sumido soo-mee’-doh (adjective) which means immersed, submerged. Check it out in a couple of examples below:
1: Mis hijos siempre están sumidos en sus condenados videojuegos. My children are always immersed in their blasted video games.
2: El país está sumido en una profunda crisis económica. The country is immersed in a profound economic crisis.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This is an awesome word this week! My sister is getting married at our house on Saturday and we are immersed in all the wedding preparations. So I know I can easily use this word this week. Thanks!

Muchas gracias. I had a friend who took immersion classes in elementary school and she loved it. It is so smart to teach kids when they are young.
