Jul 21, 2014 | Rita

Spanish Word of the Week 600
Fiesta Baby by: JW Illustrations

I may have actually given you this word in the past but it it truly one of my favorites! It is encantar ehn-kahn-tahr'(verb)which means to love, to please, to make happy. Check out some examples:

1.) Me encantan los bizcochitos de arándanos.

I love blueberry scones.

2.) A mi hermana le encanta tomar sol en la playa.

My sister loves sunbathing on the beach.

Awesome favorite of mine too! Great examples also. I have actually learned quite a few words now from these posts. My kids also like hearing them too.

This is an awesome word this week! I know I will be able to use it several times this week with my daughter. I am sure she knows the word but it will be nice to use such a positive word with her this week.

Love this one! I will have to find ways to work it into conversation with my husband and kids. It’s silly, but I love finding new endearments for them.

Great uses of the word, I love the blueberry scone example. I would love to be having one right now.

Both of my children take Spanish class at their school. It is actually required which I think is great. They both probably know this verb already and now I know it too!
