This week’s word is recoger reh-koh-hehr’ (verb) which means to pick up. This is a word that you will say a lot to your kids!
1. ¡Muchas gracias por recoger sus juguetes del suelo, niños!
Thanks for picking your toys up off the floor, kids!
2. No te olvides que tenemos que recoger a mi mamá del aeropuerto.
Don’t forget that we have to pick up my mom from the airport.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I’ll be using that word allot since school is out, it’s like they never seem to remember or care to pick up after themselves..maybe if I say it in Spanish they’ll get it..lol

I need to say this a lot more. My kids’ room always looks like a hurricane hit it.

Perfect word for my kids and I to learn, maybe they can even teach there friends. I love the Spanish words. Maybe saying the word pick up in another language will be more effective. lol
