Here is another great word! This week’s word is el muslo moos’-loh (noun) which means thigh. Here are a couple of examples:
1. Ayer corrí por primera vez en tres meses y los muslos me duelen como no puedes creer.
Yesterday I ran for the first time in three months and my thighs hurt like you would not believe.
2. En mi familia soy el único que prefiere comer el muslo del pollo en vez de la pechuga.
I’m the only one in my family who would rather eat the thigh of the chicken than the breast.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Rita, I love your Spanish worlds of the week. Even though I am fluent in Spanish my kids are not. I just might need to bring them over to your Spanish work do the week for them to start learning.

I enjoy these and although I took Spanish in school I am afraid how much I have forgotten. I can most usually read it, and can understand it if it is spoken slowly but am horrible at speaking it now.

Funny second sentence, I would much rather eat chicken breast rather than the thigh myself.

Oh this is a great word this week! I can easily use this in a sentence with my daughter. Thanks for another great Spanish lesson!
