Getting costumes, candy and more can be a pain on Halloween. I thought about giving away $100 worth of candy but then thought I would have to overnight it to the winner because in some places it is still too warm. So what I am giving one very lucky winner is a $100 Walmart Gift Card. This will allow you to get all the candy you need along with any other Halloween goodies that you may need.   13. I wish Halloween was like it used to be. Kids running everywhere with their flashlights, never knowing what the weather was going to be like. Most times it was pretty cold and maybe misting rain. I can remember when we gave out 300 pieces of candy and rural kids would come and jump out of the backs of pickup trucks. I love my memories of Halloween and I hope children have at least half as much fun as we did.

  14. Everything! It was always my favorite holiday as I child. Even then I loved staying home to dress up and hand out candy with the family as well all dressed up to scare the other kids in our front-yard cemetery. 😀

  28. I already decorated for Halloween, and what I like about it is the making of some Halloween treats such as caramel apples, my favorite Halloween sugar cookies made into scary shapes, and also getting to see the trick or treaters in their costumes when they come to my house!

I love watching horror movies (all the time but it’s even better on Halloween) and I love that it seems like everyone gets along on Halloween. Lastly, I love that it’s the one day of the year where you can pretend to be something you’re not and no one can say anything about it.

  179. Now that the kids are grown, my fave part is the day after. At Walmart, all the leftover candy is half price. I just got my last bag of mini Snickers out of the freezer last week!
