Spring Cleaning is in full swing around my house and I can tell you that we needed more than ever! I swear I do this every year but for some reason it looks as though I haven’t bothered to clean anything out in I don’t know when. My sister in-law asked why I took the time every year to clean and scrub the entire house top to bottom and my answer was because I grew up doing that. I always thought that you were suppose to do it and truthfully it gives me a chance to get rid of stuff that we no longer need. My biggest problem this year though is actually that I only have one day to get it all done.
Cleaning Products and Job Assignments
Spring Cleaning means I need cleaning supplies and Kimberly-Clark has me covered there. With our time limit it also meant job assignments. None of this would work if everyone wasn’t helping with me directing from the couch. Having the kids do various jobs wasn’t that big of a deal and allowed everything to get done. I assigned everyone a task based on their age and skill level. Everyone cleaned their own room and closet with my mom taking care of the bathrooms, my uncle handling the tall stuff and the twins wiping everything down. We all did the living room and kitchen together. Working together with great tools meant we got the entire house done in four hours and feel great about it. It also meant that no one was over worked.
Tough Enough to Handle the Job
Viva® Vantage® and Viva® Towels are tough and absorbent which means I can use them rather than a rag and then throw them out. Now I know that isn’t always the “green” thing to do but this means one less thing to have to do such as laundry. One of the great things about using Viva® Vantage® Towels is that we were able to get up at the ceiling fans and lights and really get them clean. In fact the light fixtures are white once again. I had truly forgotten what color they were. Since Viva® Vantage® ® has a scrubby texture it meant that the twins could wipe everything down and still get it clean. Every single time they pulled back and saw their towel was dirty they got a new one.

Quality with Long Lasting Value
When you have small children you learn quickly the value of things! For example in the kids bathrooms the only toilet paper that goes in there is one that will out last the twins need to use it for everything under the sun. That is the WORST thing in the world but since they are only 3 years old it is something we are still working on. That is why I love Scott® 1000 because they get 1000 sheets which can withstand a couple of times watching it simply flush. What does this have to do with Spring Cleaning? Simple Scott® 1000 is perfect for wiping down the toilet seat and sink quickly between uses. This means I have to do less scrubbing int he long run and saves me time.

Better Clean for Ma
Cottonelle® is the product that Ma can’t live without and the one she hides from me. I hunt it down though because I keep a roll in my desk drawer and use it to clean my computer each day. It is has CleanRipple Texture which makes it perfect for grabbing the dust that settles on my computer screen but it is soft enough to not scratch it. Keeping the computer clean means there is one less thing to do as well and keeps me ahead of the schedule. I also use Cottonelle® to dust the television screens for the same reasons as I use it on the computer.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

My tip would be when cleaning the windows, we take the screens out and use a sponge to go over them. Gets all that dust off of them! I have to try the Viva® Vantage® Towels! Some that I have used in the past seen to shred and you go through so many! I am going to pick some of those up!

My tip is to focus on one room at a time – otherwise it never looks like you’ve done anything if you just do one thing across the whole house.

My best tip would be cleaning right after you make a mess, it usually is easier to clean right after a spill or mess. Which would save you on time in the long run.

I haven’t started my spring cleaning yet. I would like to blame the weather, but truthfully I’m not motivated. Hopefully, your tips will get me up, and going. Happy Easter!

I always make sure to clean the ceiling fans first. A lot of dust tends to accumulate on there and then you can clean up anything that falls when I’m doing the rest of the room.

I try to get as much done as possible when no one is home. Otherwise I’m too distracted.
