How many have done this; you carry your baby in it’s carrier through the rain or snow with a dozen blankets across the top only to have them blow off? How many of you have a cover for breast feeding, a shopping cart cover, carrier cover, and a high chair cover all in your diaper bags or at least in the car? Well NO MORE thanks to Sprout Shell!
Sprout Shell is a privately owned and family operated company. It all began when Sheri Whittaker had her third daughter and realized there was a serious need for a truly functional infant carrier cover that would eliminate exposing her baby to the wind, rain, cold, etc. She ended up making her own. Then, ten years later, her oldest daughter Kirsten became pregnant and saw that there was the same need. Together, with Sheri’s business experience and Kirsten’s marketing background…Sprout Shell was born, giving mom’s the first multi-functional, stylish infant carrier cover that grows with baby from birth through toddlerhood.
We were sent the Dilly Dally Shell to review. Right from the start, I was very impressed with the material of this cover. The weather being what it is…crazy, you never know if it is going to be warm, cold, or raining. It will probably snow in July. This covers allows baby to be completely covered no matter what. I also like that it keeps other people from sharing all their germs while out and about. I don’t get people’s need to touch someone else’s baby. When used as an infant carrier cover, the tent-like enclosure protects baby from the sun, wind, rain and other elements. I like that there’s a hole in the top so we can easily hold onto the handle and still see inside.
Another great thing about the Sprout Shell is that you don’t need to worry when breast feeding, because it instantly becomes a nursing cover that gives added privacy no matter where your are at. It stays in place and doesn’t fall off like blankets do. You can also cover shopping carts and high chairs when in stores and restaurants so that baby doesn’t get all the germs off of them. When you get home you can throw the Sprout Shell into the wash and the germs are gone!
When you baby has outgrown their Sprout Shell I have thought of another use…… you can use it to cover their shoulders for all the haircuts that moms always seem to give their kids!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
