When I came across the Static Stained Glass Heat Control Window Panel on Tomson.com I thought it was awesome and would look great on my big window. When it came in I realized that my big window was too big and most likely needed a custom piece. So I thought I would put it on my front door.
The first thing I did was measure my window panes and create a template that I could use to cut the panel with. After I did this I realized I had another problem. I need nine pieces and the 16×40 sheet panel could only make six. Well that was okay after we (meaning the family) did some thinking. We still wanted to be able to look out the window as well so we thought that we would do the top and bottom three panes fully and then do half of the three middle panes.
Then I began cutting them. I have a paper cutter that helps me get a straight line so I used that to line things up nicely! This really helped because I can’t cut a straight line to save my life.
I was really surprised at easy applying the Static Stained Glass Heat Control Window Panel was. After I cut it all I had to do was damp the glass and then apply the panel pieces. They lined up very nicely too as you can see. I am so proud of myself, cause I really didn’t think I would be able to manage it.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

That is a very pretty design. The windows going upstairs, make things really hot, so this would be good to use on them.

I like it! I’ve used similar stuff to cover windows in our bathroom, but it was no where near that pretty, just semi-opaque to make sure no one could look in, lol.

I love the look of stained glass! We have a back door that we don’t use that this would work on really well!

These are pretty. I like the colors. I especially like that they are static and can be removed and reapplied. I wouldnt mind some of these for privacy!
