Staying on track and focused this year is important to me. That is why I knew I needed something to help me ensure I was doing all my daily things. I have several items that I do each day with work and wanted to be certain that I didn’t forget one. So I headed over to Etsy to find some sort of monthly tracker.
I needed one that would fit into my planner and that I could print. I found a habit tracker with thirty one little blocks and plenty of space for me to write in what I needed to do. I can print it and it fits into my planner. Now I could punch holes in it but I prefer to run it through my sticker machine. This allows me to make it a sticker that I can stick to the last page of each month in my planner. I color out days I don’t need and use highlighters for others. I keep my key simple in that a “C” means I completed a task.
While an “X” means I didn’t. This is one of the small ways that I am staying focused. I know at the end of each business day what work I didn’t get done. I am planning to use the same system for some of my personal stuff as well. Things like working out or ensuring I drink enough water. Also that I am remembering to test my blood pressure each day. This habit tracker has been a god send and you can search on Etsy for one that will work for you. They have some that are already stickers!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

That is a great system. I’m a list-maker, partly so I won’t forget important things and partly because I find it very satisfying to cross completed things off the list. I wonder if I would be more productive if I used a checklist similar to yours. Now you’ve got me thinking…

I really like your system! Your mantra is staying on track while mine is getting back on track. I need to find a system that works for me.

I’m glad I found this post. So far this year I’ve been pretty scattered and definitely need to do something so that the things that need to get done actually get done. The tracking idea seems like a worthy one to try.
