Last month I told you about FutureFood2050 a multi-year program that highlights the people and stories leading the efforts for a healthier, safer and better nourished planet that’s needed to feed 9 billion+ people by 2050. They have interviews which are very interesting with leaders in food and science and next year they are coming out with a documentary film.
A few of the articles I was checking out is one about Peanut Butter saving lives! That is right, peanut butter! It is actually a supplement that is made with peanut butter but is actually working for children Malawi and Sierra Leone. Maybe this is will be the supplement of the future around the world. Another article was about how NASA is getting astronauts to grow lettuce in space so they can have their greens when they are on the International Space Station.
There are of course many more articles such as one explaining why pregnant women should eat more fish. There is information about food and food development that I actually really didn’t know anything about. I now am learning things and making better informed choices about the foods that my family and I eat. I cannot begin to tell you how much FutureFood2050 has helped me look at food differently.

Even if learning about food advancements and more is not really your thing I would suggest heading over and checking it out. I know that you will find at least one article that will grab your attention right away.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
