Stories by Gus on the Go

Feb 04, 2016 | Rita

01

We thought the Gus on the Go app was great then we are totally going crazy for the sequel,  Stories by Gus on the Go app! This is so much more and the kids are using it several times a day.  In this one they are still learning Spanish but they do it by traveling through classic fairy tales such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the Three Little Pigs with associated mini games.

04

You get your choice of two stories, the Mouse and Lion and the Tortoise and the Hare and then you choose whether to  learn words from the first teacher owl, to review and practice words from the middle owl with the check-mark, or to hear the story read aloud from the third owl holding a book. Simple as pie!!

03

Each section was brightly colored and super easy for the twins to follow. They really love the stories but I love the review section because it was very game like and they didn’t realize they were learning anything. How super awesome is that?

Some features of Stories with Gus on the Go include:

  • Short lessons based on the characters from classic stories
  •  Entertaining stories with dialogue to support the text
  •  Interactive text that will read individual words aloud or highlight an object on the screen
  •  Fun games to help reinforce key vocabulary and keep learning lighthearted
  •  Individual passports (user accounts) to keep track of progress
