This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and State Farm. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
Not long ago I told you about the State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist that is giving you a chance to make their comunidad muy bueno! While this is important in the Hispanic comunidad it is equally important in all communities. When we reach out to make things better everyone benefits.
Do you or even a familia member have idea that will make your comunidad muy bueno? Maybe it is a park for children that you want to build or maybe you want to help feed the ninos that aren’t getting enough to eat. State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist is a youth-led philanthropic program that empowers people to identify the issues they feel are important within their own comunidad.
How it Works
You can submit your cause to win 1 of 40 $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist® grants. When 4,000 causes have been submitted (deadline of March 23rd) the State Farm Youth Advisory Board will review them and then choose the Top 200. The top 200 causes will then be announced on April 28 and if you have the free Facebook app you can vote until May 16 up to 10 times a day. That voting will select the 40 winners who will be announced on May 27th via the Facebook app.
Submit Your Cause to State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist
Submit your cause NOW via the State Farm Facebook app. Be sure to submit early and don’t let fear keep you from the chance to make your comunidad muy bueno. Everyone will benefit and you never know, you just might win! Wouldn’t it be amazing to see your comunidad get or do something amazing that all started from your small idea? I know I will be submitting my idea and keep my fingers crossed! You can also learn more at State Farm and follow them on Twitter.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This is really cool that State Farm is doing this. I wish more companies would take notice and do good things in the community like this.
